What's goin' on

Hello Friends,
It's been a while since my last letter to you, so I'll fill you in on what's been going on. The new CD has been getting great reviews and response. Look for it to possibly appear on the Living Blues radio charts in the next few months. The new band has going great as well. The personnel, although it fluctuates a bit, has been taking shape. Now with a few gigs under our belts, we've managed to build up a solid and expansive repertoire of Louis Jordan songs. Look for a few surprises in our upcoming gigs.
Also, I will be performing at the Soul Shine Blues Festival in Bascom, Ohio on Sept 24th as well as the famed Slippery Noodle in Indianapolis on Sept. 26th. Jimmy Burns will be headlining the festival on that Saturday. I will be performing with the Sean Carney Band ( from Columbus, Ohio. Sean has played with a lot of blues hevyweights such as Big Joe Duskin, Teenie Tucker, and Nick Curran. I'm really looking forward to these gigs with him backing me up.
There will also be plenty of gigs coming up here in California over the next couple of months. Be sure to check the calander for a High Rollers or Louis' Blues gig near you.
Take Care!
