Greetings!

Dear Friends,
Happy New Year to everyone! January always seems to be a quiet month for music. I just checked out Jerry Portnoy, Lee Oskar, and Magic Dick at Mark Hummel's annual Harmonica Blowout. It was thoroughly entertaining. It sort of inspired me to try and put together a little harmonica shindig of my own. Stay tuned, for there may be one in the works before the year's end.
Our thanks to everyone who managed to make it down to see Louis' Blues at The Freight and Salvage, as well as those who came to see The High Rollers at JJ's, in December. It was all of you who made those two shows such a success. Right now, I'm working on a little tour through the Northwest with Louis' Blues in mid-March. We'll be in Portland and Seattle as well as Medford, Oregon. I'm also working on a fourth date somewhere in Oregon. Check the calendar page for updates.
Before I go, I must mention a big CD-release party for Louis' Blues coming up on Wednesday, March 1st at Biscuits and Blues here in San Francisco. It's been a long time since I last played there and I'm really looking forward to it. It's a great venue with lots of great food and all ages are welcome. I hope to see you all there!
Take Care!

Phil
